Numbers continues to be an odd book for me. Numbers 34 is a list of boundaries. God tells Moses exactly, and I mean EXACTLY, where their land will be when they enter the Promised Land. He gives specific details on the boundaries.
Can you imagine if God spoke to your heart, and he told you exactly which house you should live in. Don't worry about wishing for a bigger house or more land. He simply told you to be happy with this certain one, because it is all you are going to get. Would we work as hard as we do, knowing money won't change our living situation? Or maybe we would be more generous with others because we wouldn't hoard the money.
Money is the biggest thing that separates many of us from God. We don't trust his plan, because we aren't sure it will make us enough money. We can't give ten percent, because we are saving for retirement.
Just something to think about!
