At War

So much of the Book of Psalms is a cry for deliverance from enemies. Today I read Psalm 83-84. Again, the writer is asking God to deliver him from the enemies who pursue him.

I don't live in fear. I don't really know what that is like. However, as I type this, a 16 year old girl on the Today Show tells her story of the massacre in Norway.

There are enemies in this world who look completely normal and innocent. We can't live in fear, but this child and thousands others will forever be scarred by the events last week.

I am sure I join many of you in your prayers for Norway.
