Deuteronomy 5 recaps the 10 Commandments. It seems that every few months, someone tries to either post or remove this list. A lawsuit makes headlines. Then people sit around and argue over whether or not these rules should be posted.
Basically, it doesn't matter if they are posted in public places or not. We are simply asked to follow them. Furthermore, we have laws that uphold most of them.
The only one that gives me trouble is coveting the belongings of others. It is easy to look at your friend or neighbors and wish for the things they have. The whole, "grass is greener on the other side" idea rings true for many of us.
Regardless of where these rules are posted, they are rules to live by!
