Sometimes we hear people say that the God in the Old Testament is an angry and cruel God, and the God of the New Testament is a loving God. That isn't true at all. God is the same now that he has always been. Psalms 145-147 prove that.
Over and over again, the psalmist praises God for his compassion. We read that we cannot put our faith and trust in men and women. We must put it in God, but He is loving and caring. He won't abuse our trust.
Remember the compassion of God today!
